Nous savons, du reste, que toutes choses concourent au bien de ceux qui aiment Dieu, de ceux qui sont appelés selon son dessein.
The cares of this world pull at my feet
My heart is divided by the things that I see
My plans and ambitions have a piece of my soul
But it’s nothing compared
To the love my God shows
And I Lay It All Down at the foot of the cross
Till every step that I take is the will of the Father
I lay it all down let the Spirit have its way
And this life that I live I live it for Jesus
When I look at my future in this world that I face
I must remember to keep Christ in His place
Climbing higher and higher in pursuit of the
crown
I surrender this flesh that keeps holding me down
